The Recruitment Group is hiring! We are on the lookout for an Electrical Assembly Operative to join our well-established client within the local Abingdon area.

About the role:

  • Full-time position
  • Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4:30pm (1/2hr for lunch)

The Role:

  • Carry out wiring of systems and products using electrical drawings and technical instructions.
  • Participate in the mechanical assembly of components and full systems.
  • Fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Identify areas for improvement, and liaise with supervisors to resolve issues.
  • Ensure all health, safety and quality control procedures are followed.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in an assembly role, with strong wiring and hand soldering skills.
  • Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and instructions.
  • Effective communicator, able to coordinate across departments and with senior management.
  • Proactive and organised.

Salary: Pay Rate £13 per hour.
