The Recruitment Group is hiring! We are on the lookout for an Electrical Assembly Operative to join our well-established client within the local Abingdon area.
About the role:
- Full-time position
- Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4:30pm (1/2hr for lunch)
The Role:
- Carry out wiring of systems and products using electrical drawings and technical instructions.
- Participate in the mechanical assembly of components and full systems.
- Fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Identify areas for improvement, and liaise with supervisors to resolve issues.
- Ensure all health, safety and quality control procedures are followed.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in an assembly role, with strong wiring and hand soldering skills.
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and instructions.
- Effective communicator, able to coordinate across departments and with senior management.
- Proactive and organised.
Salary: Pay Rate £13 per hour.
