We are recruiting for a Credit Controller to join a well-established and growing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional to become part of a supportive team and play a key role in managing customer accounts and maintaining healthy cash flow.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- The collection of outstanding debt
- Resolving account queries
- Building strong relationships with customers to ensure payments are received in a timely manner
- Proactively managing a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments
- Contacting customers by telephone and email regarding overdue invoices and payment schedules
- Investigating and resolving invoice queries, disputes, and account discrepancies
- Preparing and issuing customer statements and account information
- Setting up new customer accounts, including carrying out credit checks and assessing credit risk
- Monitoring accounts on hold and liaising with internal departments regarding order releases
- Maintaining accurate customer records and account notes
- Supporting the wider Finance team with administrative and ad hoc duties as required
Previous experience within a Credit Control role is desirable but not essential. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
