We are seeking a Project Accountant to join a well-established organisation in a complex, project-led environment. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will support financial reporting, forecasting, and control across key projects, as well as assisting with future bids.
Key Responsibilities
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Prepare and update Estimate at Completion (EAC) forecasts
- Monitor project performance and report variances
- Assist with contract reviews and month-end processes
- Maintain financial data in SAP and support reporting improvements
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy
About You
- Fully or part-qualified accountant (ACA or CIMA)
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail, working accurately and with diligence
- Experience in financial controlling or similar role
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Desirable: SAP experience, Project accounting background
