The Recruitment Group is looking for MOT Testers. As a MOT Tester you will work for our client based in Loughborough. If you are interested in the MOT Tester role then please read below. Pay for a MOT Tester: * £15 – £17 per hour depending on experience. Hours for a MOT tester: * Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00 Responsibilities of a MOT Tester: * Receiving and completing work orders. * Conducting MOT tests according to ministry standards. * Reading car and truck service manuals. * Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues. * Inspecting vehicle engines. * Inspecting mechanical and electrical components. * Diagnosing issues. * Using computer-based equipment. * Completing and presenting mot test reports. * Repairing and replacing broken or defective parts and removing defects. * Road testing vehicles. * Advising clients on major repairs and services. Required Skills: * Previous experience working as an MOT Tester. * In-depth knowledge of MOT Testing standards and procedures. * Excellent troubleshooting skills. * Good communication and report writing skills. * Detail-orientated with good knowledge of health and safety in the workplace.
