We are recruiting a Mechanical Design Engineer on behalf of a growing engineering manufacturer, to join its R&D team in Witney. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on the design and development of innovative products, taking projects from concept through to production.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop new and existing products.
- Build and test prototypes.
- Analyse test results and recommend improvements.
- Produce Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Work closely with the engineering team to deliver successful projects.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design or a related discipline.
- Experience in product design and development.
- Knowledge of 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred).
- The ability to interpret engineering drawings and carry out product testing.
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
