Hours: 4 Day working week, 7:00 - 17:30 Monday-Thursday

Are you detail-oriented with experience in a manufacturing or production environment? We are recruiting for a machine operator to join a leading manufacturer within the automotive industry in Witney. In this role, you'll be responsible for producing, checking and issuing product labels to support manufacturing operations, ensuring all labels meet quality, customer and regulatory requirements.

Duties include:

  • Operate label printing equipment and software.
  • Print, inspect and issue labels in line with production schedules.
  • Verify product information, including batch numbers, barcodes and expiry dates.
  • Carry out quality checks to ensure labels are accurate and compliant.
  • Maintain accurate label records and stock control.
  • Perform line clearance checks to prevent labelling errors.
  • Report equipment faults or discrepancies promptly.
  • Support production teams with labelling requirements.
  • Follow all Health & Safety and quality procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse or production environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience operating label printers or an understanding of product traceability would be advantageous, but not essential.
