The Recruitment Group is excited to be working with a leading global provider of products and services that support patient care, with an emphasis on infection prevention. Due to continued growth, our client has an opportunity for an experienced Laboratory Technician to join their team in Leicester. Responsibilities include: Supporting all aspects of research and development of new and existing products, including screening studies of chemicals and excipients, formulation preparation, testing, and stability studies. Researching novel technologies and methodologies for developing innovative chemical indicator products. Conducting routine assays of test solutions and raw materials to support R&D and production activities. Maintaining departmental records and systems, and organizing data related to tasks. Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety in the laboratories, reporting any defects promptly. Following current legislation, guidelines, and company policies (Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, Environmental). Adhering to the organisation’s Quality Assurance systems. Performing other duties reasonably expected of the role based on skills and experience. Requirements: Experience in general laboratory work. Experience with laboratory techniques such as titrations. Experience working in regulated environments like cGLP or cGMP is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
