Introduction: Serving Clients for over 20 years within the Hull and Humber region, and further afield, an opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic team with an existing client portfolio servicing the local industry including petrochemical, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, and energy generation. The ideal candidate will be people focused with a strong basis in electrical installation works within ATEX hazardous areas, having worked as an electrical technician with a proven track record for supervising and delivering complex projects safely and in line with electrical best practice.
Location: Predominantly based within Hull and servicing the Hull and Humber Region with working away as opportunities and needs arise.
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 40 per week (additional hours may be available / required)
Working Time: Flexible to meet business needs, typically Monday to Friday between the hours of 07:30 to 17:00.
Salary: Our rates align with JIB rates and will vary depending on experience, qualifications, and competency typically £19.50 to £25.00 per hour (£40k to £52k pa).

Job Profile: The below outlines the full spectrum of the role’s requirements. However, additional training and coaching will be provided as appropriate for applicants who have the potential to grow into the position.
- Installation and testing of various electrical systems within both commercial and industrial environments including containment, cabling, glanding, termination, testing, and inspection.
- Installation and inspection of electrical works within ATEX rated hazardous areas.
- Experience supervising teams of electricians and apprentices on industrial sites.
- Adhering to strict health and safety requirements, electrical regulations, and H&S law.
Technical / knowledge requirements:
- BS 7671 Edition qualified
- Electrical Inspection & Testing (2391) qualified
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a qualified electrician with industrial and ATEX experience
- CompEx 01 to 04, CompEx 05 and 06 (ideally)
- UK Manual Driving Licence
