Overview
HGV1 Driver
Our new client based in Birmingham are urgently seeking HGV1 Drivers for an immediate start pending you passing our compliance checks.
24/7 operation with many shifts starting between 00:01 and 03:00.
Responsibilities
- Driving either a curtain or box-sided trailer
- Deliveries of general haulage
- Majority of the runs have no handball as the loads are all palletised
- Driving nearly new either DAFs, Manns, Volvo or Mercedes vehicles
- Average 1 drop and collection per shift; this can vary
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years on road HGV1 experience
- A valid HGV1 licence
- No major convictions on your driving licence
- An indate driver CPC card
- A valid digital tachograph card
Benefits / In return
- Pay rates between £21.09 per hour and £25.07 per hour, both inclusive of holiday pay
