FLT Driver

We are currently looking for a Material Handler with FLT to join our long standing client based in Loughborough. As a Material Handler with FLT you need to have a Counterbalance Licence and be a good team player. The Material Handler with FLT is a very busy and physical role so if you feel this is for you then please apply. This is a temporary position which may go perm for the right person.

Pay Rate for the FLT Driver:

£12.65 per hour

Hours for the FLT Driver:

8am to 4pm – Monday to Friday

As a Material Handler with FLT you will be responsible for:

You will be part of the Inbound Logistics Team
Receive inbound deliveries daily
You will be expected to learn all aspects of the Material sampling process
You will deliver raw material and packaging to production areas using daily plans and schedules
Manage inbound deliveries, handling hazardous materials in accordance with health and safety processes, and handling the stock put-away operation
Locate materials into relevant storage locations once goods are processed
Perform additional inventory management related functions as and when
Train on the Drum Cleaning operation and train on Chemical sampling when required

About You:

Counterbalance / Reach truck experience
Previous experience working in a warehouse or inventory role
Strong communication skills and customer focus to deliver excellent customer service
Operating skills to use handheld scanners and learn to enter data in various systems as necessary
Confident and comfortable working independently as part of a larger team
Excellent organisation and time management skills.
Displays a high level of confidentiality
Working knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel would be beneficial but not essential
