Hours: Mon - Fri 9:00am - 5pm

The Recruitment Group is working with a client based in Oldham who is a trusted source of finance, providing equipment, finance and business funding solutions for over 30 years. They are looking for an Internal Broker Coordinator to join their growing team.

Purpose of the Internal Broker Coordinator Role:

The Internal Broker Coordinator supports the Broker Channel by driving new business through sales administration tasks. You will liaise with internal teams and external brokers to manage sales enquiries from initial contact to completed finance agreements. This is a fast-paced, target-driven role requiring strong communication, numeracy, and organisational skills. A proactive attitude and focus on delivering excellent service are key to supporting broker sales and ensuring a smooth customer experience.

Key Responsibilities for an Internal Broker Coordinator:

  • Managing new business enquiries from brokers.
  • Advise brokers on information needed to support a finance requirement and how to submit a finance proposal.
  • Understand our client's pricing, lending policy/appetite and develop a general market awareness of different funders' credit policy/rates.
  • Collaborate with brokers to deliver a successful drawdown of approved finance facilities.
  • Provide general guidance to brokers regarding our finance agreements and supporting documentation.
  • Consult with brokers to manage outstanding proposals and convert to live agreements.
  • Deal with ad hoc broker enquiries on pricing, lending policy and asset appetite.
  • Answer broker enquiries, telephone calls & emails.

Key Requirements for an Internal Broker Coordinator:

  • Knowledge of the leasing industry preferred or worked within a broker environment.
  • Working in a New Business/Sales environment would be advantageous.
  • IT literate. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong written, verbal, and telephone communication skills.
  • Confident working with numbers; good numeracy skills essential.
  • Proactive, hardworking, and enthusiastic.
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Target-driven with a focus on achieving results.
  • Service-oriented with an eye for sales opportunities.
