The Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Bodyshop Strip & Fit Technician to join a busy and professional bodyshop team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are repaired and reassembled to the highest standards, working under the guidance of the Bodyshop Supervisor and Manager. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled technician who takes pride in precision and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Stripping and refitting panels and components on a variety of vehicles
- Carrying out repairs in line with approved methods to restore vehicles to their original condition
- Removing parts and panels safely and efficiently
- Labelling, storing, and organising all nuts, bolts, screws, and fixings to ensure accurate refitting
- Supporting other bodyshop departments when required
- Assisting with the training and development of trainee bodyshop technicians
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a similar Strip & Fit or Bodyshop Technician role
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to support junior technicians and share knowledge when required
- A passion for the motor industry with pride in delivering high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
- Excellent attention to detail
