The Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Yard Marshall. As a Yard Marshall you will be working within the logistics team organising and marshalling incoming vehicles for collections and deliveries ensuring the smooth, safe and timely operation of the yard and inbound and outbound freight. General Responsibilities: Representing the company in a professional, helpful and proactive manner to all potential, new and current customers Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring you comply with statutory law, company policy & health & safety guidelines Complying with company policies and processes, achieving KPIs to improve cost and operational efficiencies. Deliver a service in line with business expectations Maintain good personal hygiene Report product safety incidents Watch for evidence of pests on site Directing incoming traffic into the yard Reporting any non-conformance or dangerous occurrences. Ownership of groupage trailers including loading and unloading Access the booking in system to direct drivers onto the correct bay Access the gate controls to admit and release drivers who are delivering or collecting Ownership of a Live yard map/footprint
