The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 Β£ per year.

Temp to Perm. Hours of work Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company. This is a hands-on role suited to candidates with previous experience within a workshop or engineering environment. The successful candidate will be involved in general engineering duties supporting the production teams.

Bench Work:

  • Debur parts
  • Dress parts through bead blasting and rubbing up
  • Drilling, tapping, reaming and use of a jigsaw
  • Maintain tools on the bench
  • Drawing documentation
  • Maintenance of the vibro bowl
  • Organise and maintain correct use of part-done and completed items shelving

Materials Checking In:

  • Check dimensions, PO number, part number and contract number
  • Check if certification number is required
  • Record all necessary information on part or drawings
  • Place parts and documentation in correct locations
  • Pallet control

Goods Inward Supporting Function:

  • Bring in parcels and deliveries
  • Determine correct action; record, store or inform Purchasing Manager

Cleaning of Parts:

  • Use degreaser, washing up liquid, water and various thinners
  • Maintain cleaning station
