Temp to Perm. Hours of work Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company. This is a hands-on role suited to candidates with previous experience within a workshop or engineering environment. The successful candidate will be involved in general engineering duties supporting the production teams.
Bench Work:
- Debur parts
- Dress parts through bead blasting and rubbing up
- Drilling, tapping, reaming and use of a jigsaw
- Maintain tools on the bench
- Drawing documentation
- Maintenance of the vibro bowl
- Organise and maintain correct use of part-done and completed items shelving
Materials Checking In:
- Check dimensions, PO number, part number and contract number
- Check if certification number is required
- Record all necessary information on part or drawings
- Place parts and documentation in correct locations
- Pallet control
Goods Inward Supporting Function:
- Bring in parcels and deliveries
- Determine correct action; record, store or inform Purchasing Manager
Cleaning of Parts:
- Use degreaser, washing up liquid, water and various thinners
- Maintain cleaning station
