We are working with a well-established manufacturer who are looking for a welder who will be responsible for welding carbon steel and stainless steel as well as assembling components.

The Job

  • MIG and TIG welding
  • Responsible for welding carbon steel and stainless steel as well as assembling components
  • Reading and understanding manufacturing drawings
  • Verifying dimensions and product specifications
  • Ensuring that all the required parts for assembly are present
  • Ensuring that all the parts are properly fitted and aligned
  • Ensuring that all quality standards are met
  • Maintaining the production schedule and managing key stakeholders\\\’ expectations
  • Reporting and detailing product malfunctions

About you

  • A Time Served apprenticeship and/or the equivalent qualifications
  • Competency in MIG and TIG processes
  • The ability to work with heavy metals and/or stainless steel
  • To be able to work as part of a team
