We are working with a well-established manufacturer who are looking for a welder who will be responsible for welding carbon steel and stainless steel as well as assembling components.
The Job
- MIG and TIG welding
- Responsible for welding carbon steel and stainless steel as well as assembling components
- Reading and understanding manufacturing drawings
- Verifying dimensions and product specifications
- Ensuring that all the required parts for assembly are present
- Ensuring that all the parts are properly fitted and aligned
- Ensuring that all quality standards are met
- Maintaining the production schedule and managing key stakeholders\\\’ expectations
- Reporting and detailing product malfunctions
About you
- A Time Served apprenticeship and/or the equivalent qualifications
- Competency in MIG and TIG processes
- The ability to work with heavy metals and/or stainless steel
- To be able to work as part of a team
