We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced FLT/Warehouse Operative to join their existing team. Reporting to the Operations Manager and working in a small team, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company.
The job:
- You will be responsible for Grading, Quality Checking, Sorting and Processing of Scrap Metal (Training will be provided).
- Compliance with site safety regulations management, company policy and all following all aspects of Health and Safety.
- Forklift truck duties (Counterbalance) including loading, unloading, and moving stock around the site.
- Using Plant Machinery to load containers/bunkers.
- Carrying out general maintenance and cleaning.
About you:
- Previous FLT (Counterbalance) and Warehousing experience is essential.
- Previous experience of working within Recycling or Waste Management would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Must hold a valid FLT Counterbalance Licence.
The company is an established company in the Atherton area offering a competitive salary of £29,500 per annum plus bonus (up to £3,000).
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 7.30am-5pm.
