Our client is a well-established printing company based in Rochdale who due to continued expansion are looking to add an experienced Flexographic Print Operator to their team. As a Print Operative, you’ll play a key role in creating high-quality products for our customers. The company is well established and prides themselves in delivering a high-quality service to their clients.
The purpose of the role is:
- Operating both manual and semi-automatic machines, including 4-colour stack presses
- Monitoring machinery output to meet and exceed production targets
- Identifying and resolving print issues
- Optimising changeovers while maintaining health, safety, and quality standards
- Maintaining a clean, safe work environment and promoting safety
- Conducting shift handovers to ensure smooth production transitions, including briefing the next shift and checking machinery
The Person:
- Ideally, you have experience in print, either flexographic, lithograph or gravure background
- NVQ in Print (desirable but not essential)
- High attention to detail and meticulous approach
- Able to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance
- Flexibility to work a 2 shift pattern
