Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer with a strong BMS background and electrical bias to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on HVAC plant control systems and associated equipment including fans, motors, control valves, actuators, sensors, and BMS controls.
This role requires a hands-on engineer with excellent diagnostic skills, a good understanding of electrical control systems, and experience working within HVAC and BMS environments.

- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on HVAC and BMS-related equipment.
• Diagnose faults and undertake repairs on

- Perform electrical fault finding on control panels, field wiring, and control circuits.
- Inspect, test, and commission HVAC control equipment following maintenance activities.
- Identify and rectify control system issues affecting building performance.
- Complete functional testing of HVAC systems and associated controls.
- Calibrate sensors and field devices to maintain system accuracy.
- Produce detailed maintenance reports and service documentation.
- Liaise professionally with customers and site personnel.
- Recommend system improvements and energy-saving opportunities where appropriate.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Participate in reactive call-out support and out-of-hours emergency breakdown response when required.
About you
- Proven experience working within the Building Management Systems (BMS) industry.
- Strong electrical background with experience in fault finding and testing.
- Knowledge of HVAC plant and associated control systems.
