Our client has been at the forefront of car and commercial vehicle repairs for over 30 years. Their experience has enabled them to sustain growth in the market by offering a 'Total Service Package' all under one roof.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with colleagues and customers regarding work in progress and scheduled work.
- Address or solve issues as they arise and seek guidance if required.
- Self‑motivated to achieve tasks within given timescales and improve service levels.
- Keep a daily log of job descriptions for work carried out.
- Accountable for cleanliness within the workplace ensuring a clean tidy work area at all times.
- Awareness of customer‑service ethics and expectations of meeting customer needs.
- Inspect vehicles and carry out MOT preparation to VOSA standards.
- Maintain various commercial vehicles and repair mechanical defects.
- MET / Accident damage repairs to vans and commercial vehicles.
- Work alongside colleagues to deliver on specific work projects.
- Develop accident repair in relation to cab detrit & retrim.
- Chassis laser checks and chassis repairs & steering geo checks.
Qualifications:
- Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
- Key skills in English and Maths.
- Knowledge & experience in auto electrical & diagnostic repairs (preferred).
Schedule: The hours for the role are 7:00 to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday with occasional overtime available.
