Machine Operative in Littleborough

£13.67 per hour * Long Term Prospects * Excellent Benefits * Rotating 6-2 / 2-10 shifts Mon to Fri On behalf of a global manufacturing company in Littleborough, we are recruiting for an experienced Machine / Production Operatives to work on a temporary to permanent contract. Ideally with previous knowledge working with Engineered Textiles or laminating the purpose of the role is; * To manufacture products operating a range of production machines, associated equipment and related computer based systems. * Achieve maximum production output whilst still maintaining defined quality standards and minimum waste * Selection, movement and stock control of all materials used in the manufacture process * Record keeping and documentation to standards appropriate to an OHSAS Safety and Environmental accredited facility. * Maintain highest standards of cleaning and housekeeping in relation to machines, immediate work area and production facility as a whole. * Contribute to culture of continuous improvement to drive improvements in safety, quality and operational efficiency. * Other duties, as required, that would reasonably be allocated to a Production Operator The Person; * Previous Machine / Production Operative Experience, ideally with experience of Textiles or laminating * Flexibility to work a 2 shift system * Basic Computer / I T Skills * Great attention to detail and a proactive approach Next Steps; If you’re near Littleborough and have previous experience in a similar role, gained within a manufacturing environment then please send your CV to Chris Chambury at The Recruitment Fix
