Our client in Hyde, a leading supplier in their chosen sector, is looking for a Product Design Engineer who will be responsible for the continuous development of existing products and new designs from prototype to production items. The role will involve:

  • Development of current products and creating new designs for the industry.
  • Working on conceptual designs through prototype, testing, to pre-production samples and final component approval.
  • Using Autodesk Inventor Product Design suite to develop new and updated designs of window shading products.
  • Prototyping and testing new concepts.
  • Liaising with internal departments to create manufacturing and installation instructions.
  • Creating images/renders for catalogue and promotional literature.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years CAD experience and knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office package.

Essential Criteria: Product Design Degree or relevant work experience.
