We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced FLT/Warehouse Operative to join their existing team. Reporting to the Operations Manager and working in a small team – this is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company.
The job:
- You will be responsible for Grading, Quality Checking, Sorting and Processing of Scrap Metal (Training will be provided).
- Compliance with site safety regulations management, company policy and all following all aspects of Health and Safety.
- Forklift truck duties (Counterbalance) – Loading, unloading, moving stock around site.
- Carrying out general maintenance and cleaning.
About you:
- Previous FLT (Counterbalance) and Warehousing experience is essential.
- Previous experience of working within Recycling or Waste Management would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Must hold a valid FLT Counterbalance Licence.

- Offering a competitive salary of £27,500 per annum plus bonus (up to £4,000).
