The company is an established manufacturer of MDF products, looking to recruit an experienced production Line Leader.
Position Summary
As Line Leader, you will be responsible for the running of production lines ensuring manning is at the correct level and daily and weekly targets are met.
The job
- Ensure each production line is meeting daily/weekly targets.
- Ensure breakdowns are reported to maintenance.
- Ensure quality of products meets customer expectations.
- Ensure compliance with company H&S policies/procedures.
- Work with the rest of the team aiming for zero accidents.
- Have involvement and input into capital investments.
- Ensure daily/weekly PPM is completed.
About you
- Must have previous team leader experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
- Weinig Powermat and/or Hydromat experience ideally (however, other machine setting experience will be considered).
- You will be able to motivate your team and drive success.
- Ensure effective communication with the maintenance team.
- You will be able to provide cover in the tool room if required.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, capable of leading and motivating the production teams whilst ensuring targets and performance levels are met.
