Assembly Technician * £12.94 - £13.51 per hour * Monday to Friday 40-hour weeks * Established manufacturer. * Respected partner to the Aviation industry * Great company culture We are working with a long-standing client of ours based in Wythenshawe who are experts in the aviation industry who are looking for an Assembly/Mechanical Technician The Job * Manufacture and develop trim jigs for the 5 Axis machines. * Dress and mount vac form tooling as required. * Hand trim components for FAS and 5 Axis teaching aid. * Produce all seat plastics components to the highest quality standard, including but not restricted to the following processes (scraping, tool making, vacuum forming, trimming, gluing and assembly) * Work within the COSHH guidelines and ensure correct wearing of appropriate PPE. * Working from engineering drawings and work instructions, ensuring a high calibre of quality is followed at all times. * Ensure the workshop is maintained to a safe standard in accordance with company EH&S policies/procedures. * Kit components as required. About you * Manual Dexterity * Proven experience in Assembly * To be competent and proficient in the use of all workshop machinery through the company training program. * Experience using hand tools * Capable of reading and understanding Standard Measuring Equipment SME. * Able to interpret Assembly/Engineering drawings * To have a keen eye for detail.
