The Job
- Operate Horizontal Boring Machines to produce medium to heavy workpieces.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy in fabrication.
- Self-inspect work.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and quality.
About you
- Candidate must have proven experience of setting and operating manual horizontal boring machines or have a turning background.
- Be able to work to customer issued drawings and specifications to produce medium to heavy workpieces.
- Have the ability to self-inspect.
- Be willing to work overtime when needed.
