CNC Vertical Borer Setter, Operator, Programmer – Nights
- £18-£23.40 per hour depending upon experience
- Nights – Mon – Thurs 6pm-6am (4 x 12-hour shifts) paid at time +1/3

Are you a skilled CNC Turner available immediately for work? Join one of the UK’s specialist engineering companies. We need the candidate to have a strong mechanical knowledge. This role requires precision and attention to detail, as you will be responsible for fabricating components and ensuring they meet the required specifications.
The Job:
- Setting, operating and programming CNC Vertical boring/lathe machines using the Fanuc control system (This machine also used Cimco CADCam or Fusion software for programming.)
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy in fabrication
- Self-inspect work
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and quality
About you:
- Must have proven experience of setting, operating and programming CNC Vertical boring/lathe machines using the Fanuc control system (This machine also used Cimco CADCam or Fusion software for programming.)
- Be able to work to customer issued drawings and specifications to produce medium to heavy workpieces.
- Have the ability to self-inspect.
- Be willing to work overtime when needed.
