We are working with a well-established manufacturer who are looking for a welder who will be responsible for welding carbon steel and stainless steel as well as assembling components.

The Job

MIG and TIG welding

Responsible for welding carbon steel and stainless steel as well as assembling components

Reading and understanding manufacturing drawings

Verifying dimensions and product specifications

Ensuring that all the required parts for assembly are present

Ensuring that all the parts are properly fitted and aligned.

Ensuring that all quality standards are met

Maintaining the production schedule and managing key stakeholders expectations

Reporting and detailing product malfunctions

About you

A Time Served apprenticeship and/or the equivalent qualifications

Competency in MIG and TIG processes

The ability to work with heavy metals and/or stainless steel

To be able to work as part of a team
