Our client based in Nelson is looking for a Technical Documentation Administrator on a permanent basis. The client is a world-renowned manufacturer and is looking for candidates with experience in technical administration.
The Job
- Assist the Servicing, Spares and Documentation Manager in the production and maintenance of all equipment documentation, ensuring a full library of documentation is maintained.
- Ensure the timely production and supply of operating and maintenance manuals for each customer.
- Ensure that deadlines for the production of all Technical Documentation are met.
- Constantly review and update the User Guides/SOPs for each piece of equipment.
- Assist the Installation and Assembly manager in the production of installation guides.
- Work alongside the Projects and Design teams to ensure all information contained in Equipment Manuals is relevant, up to date, and formatted for easy understanding.
- Liaise with translation services to produce manuals in various languages throughout the world.
About you
- 3 years experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the production and compilation of Engineering Manuals, Technical Documentation, and SOPs.
- Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate, and problem solve effectively.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject (Desirable).
- It is a requirement of the post that the post holder holds a current category B (car) full driving licence.
- It is a requirement of the post that the post holder will be able and prepared to work in locations both overseas and within the UK.
