Semiskilled Joiner/Assembler Great working environment £12.00 /h – £12.50 /h(Rate depending on experience is flexibility) Temp to Perm Overtime Available Monday to Friday 08.00 17.00 Our client is a well-established Manufacturing company based in Blackburn who are looking to add a Semi Skilled Joiner/Assembly operative to their expanding team. The company prides itself in manufacturing high quality bespoke furniture. The purpose of the role is; To assist senior joiners in the assembling of bespoke furniture Using various hand tools such as crosscut saws, Cutter moulding machines, Band saws and 4 side planers Learning various types of machinery on site Unloading and stacking timber Other duties, as required, that would reasonably be allocated to an Assembly operative. The Person A willingness to learn how to set up and run the machines, under supervision Helping senior Wood Machinist Backing off machines and stacking timber Cleaning Great attention to detail Ideally worked in a woodworking environment A willingness to learn new skills. The company has a real family feel. They can offer full training with a view to progressing to a bench Joiner over time.
