Our client has been at the forefront of Car, Light Van and Commercial vehicle repairs for 40 years. Their experience has enabled them to sustain growth in the market by offering a Total Service Package all under one roof.
The role is to repair accident damaged vehicles back to original specification. Key responsibilities and skills include:
- Removal and replacement of non-structural damaged parts
- Cold filler and cosmetic repairs
- Removal and replacement of structural panel to original/manufacturers specification
- Ability to use Jig and pulling equipment
- Responsible to liaise with Estimators regarding additional repairs/parts required on jobs being worked on
- Responsible for completion of applicable sections of the quality control sheet for BS10125
- To quality check own work carried out and check operation of lights, Air Con and fluid levels before passing for valet
- To undertake additional duties as may be assigned from time to time
- To complete daily time sheet and job card write up
- Accountable for cleanliness within the workplace ensuring a clean, tidy work area at all times
- Awareness of Customer service ethics and expectations of meeting the customers needs
To be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate previous experience in the above and be qualified to Level 3 City and Guilds or ATA equivalent in panel repair and required welding qualifications associated to BS10125.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 7.30 till 5.00, Saturdays if required with prior agreement additional to standard hours.
