The Job:- Operate Vertical Boring Machines to produce medium to heavy workpieces.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy in fabrication.
- Self-inspect work.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and quality.
- Proven experience of setting and operating manual vertical boring machines or have a turning background.
- Ability to work to customer issued drawings and specifications to produce medium to heavy workpieces.
- Ability to self-inspect.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
An established successful manufacturer based near Rochdale.
Hourly rate of £15-£23.40 per hour depending upon experience and shift.
