Permanent role in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. Up to £38,000 per annum.

Hours of work: 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week).

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Operations Co-ordinator to join their existing team. Reporting to the Operations Manager and working in a small team, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company.

  • Responsible for co-ordinating day-to-day operations, including scheduling and monitoring logistics.
  • Handling Waste Transfer procedures and related documentation.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for enquiries and service updates via phone and email.
  • Processing paperwork, maintaining accurate databases, generating reports, and managing compliance documentation.
  • Previous experience in a helpdesk, customer service, or administrative role, preferably within logistics or waste management.
  • Knowledge of the waste industry, environmental services, or experience with transport software is highly desirable.
  • Raising sales ledger invoices using Sage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and able to learn new software systems.
