Our client based in Nelson is looking for an experienced Laser Operator on a permanent basis. The client is a well-respected manufacturer and is looking for candidates with experience operating Trumpf CNC Laser machines, both CO2 & Fibre.
- Accepting deliveries of raw materials
- Dispatching finished products
- Carrying out regular services and maintenance on machines
- Delivering finished products across the north of England when required
- Keeping the work area clean and tidy
- Meeting deadlines
- Keeping regular check of stock
- Loading/Unloading HGVs
About you:
- Ability to understand, interpret and work to Engineering drawings and to work to tight tolerances
- Team player with the ability to work alone and use own initiative with minimum supervision
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Flexibility to support the business needs
- An in-depth knowledge of laser machining
- A commitment to implement and develop business improvement initiatives across the cell
