The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on HVAC plant control systems and associated equipment including fans, motors, control valves, actuators, sensors, and BMS controls.\n \nThis role requires a hands-on engineer with excellent diagnostic skills, a good understanding of electrical control systems, and experience working within HVAC and BMS environments.\n \nThe Job\n \n• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on HVAC and BMS-related equipment.\n \n• Diagnose faults and undertake repairs on:\n \n• Supply and extract fans\n \n• Electric motors\n \n• Control valves and actuators\n \n• Pumps and associated plant\n \n• Sensors, controllers, and field devices\n \n• Building Management Systems (BMS)\n \n• Perform electrical fault finding on control panels, field wiring, and control circuits.\n \n• Inspect, test, and commission HVAC control equipment following maintenance activities.\n \n• Identify and rectify control system issues affecting building performance.\n \n• Complete functional testing of HVAC systems and associated controls.\n \n• Calibrate sensors and field devices to maintain system accuracy.\n \n• Produce detailed maintenance reports and service documentation.\n \n• Recommend system improvements and energy-saving opportunities where appropriate.\n \nAbout you\n \n• Proven experience working within the Building Management Systems (BMS) industry.\n \n• Strong electrical background with experience in fault finding and testing will be considered if willing to train\n \n• Knowledge of HVAC plant and associated control systems.\n \n• Fans and fan coil units\n \n• Motors and motor control systems\n \n• Control valves and actuators\n \n• Pumps and pressurisation systems\n \n• HVAC control panels\n \n• Understanding of control strategies, HVAC sequences, and building services systems.\n \n• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.\n \n• Experience using electrical test equipment.\n \n• Full UK Driving Licence.\
