Our client has been at the forefront of car and commercial vehicle repairs for over 40 years. We are recruiting for an experienced and qualified MET Technician to join their prestigious centre in Rochdale. The role involves performing strip and refit of mechanical repairs to damaged vehicles. Key responsibilities and skills required include:

  • Removal and replacement of non-structural damaged parts
  • Mechanical component removal & replacement
  • Remove and replace mechanical trim and electrical components
  • Inspecting vehicles and carrying out mechanical repairs to various vehicles
  • Responsible for keeping a daily log of job descriptions for work carried out
  • Ensuring that each job has relevant methods attached to it
  • Ability to address or solve issues as they arise and seek guidance if required
  • Self-motivated to achieve tasks within the given time scales & improve service levels
  • Ability to communicate with colleagues and customers alike
  • Accountable for cleanliness in the workplace, ensuring a clean tidy work area at all times
  • Awareness of customer service ethics and expectations of meeting customer needs
  • Valid Senior MET ATA Accreditation or City and Guilds Equivalent
  • Key skills in English and Maths & Level 3 in Vehicle maintenance
  • Knowledge & experience in Auto Electrical & diagnostic repairs

The hours for the role are 7.30 to 5.00 Monday to Friday with overtime available.
