Are you an organised and detail-oriented property professional looking to join a successful residential lettings team? Our client is seeking a Lettings Administrator to support the smooth progression of tenancies from application through to move-in.
This is a varied role requiring excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to provide outstanding service to landlords and tenants throughout the lettings process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage tenancy applications from reservation through to move-in.
- Conduct tenant referencing, including credit checks, landlord references and employment references.
- Review referencing results and liaise with landlords regarding applicant approval.
- Prepare and issue tenancy agreements and associated documentation.
- Ensure all compliance requirements are completed accurately and within required timescales.
- Arrange inventories and coordinate pre-tenancy requirements.
- Liaise with tenants, landlords and colleagues throughout the tenancy progression process.
- Ensure all move-in monies have been received prior to tenancy commencement.
- Coordinate key collection and move-in arrangements.
- Maintain accurate records and update internal systems.
Requirements
- Previous experience within residential lettings, property administration or tenancy progression.
- Understanding of the lettings process and tenant referencing procedures.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and property software systems.
