Our client is an independent estate agent in West Norwood looking for an experienced Block Manager to take ownership of a small but growing portfolio of residential blocks. This is a flexible, part-time role ideally suited to someone local who is looking for work-life balance.
About the Role:
You will be managing 12 small to mid-sized blocks of flats, overseeing all aspects of block management. The role is estimated at 1 day per week, which can be split across two half-days if preferred. Most tasks can be done remotely from home, though occasional site visits for inspections and meetings are required—so proximity to West Norwood is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all safety certificates are up to date
- Organise surveys, inspections, and routine maintenance
- Respond to client maintenance requests
- Issue and manage basic Section 20 notices
- Track invoices and manage basic financial admin
- Liaise with clients and contractors as needed
- Attend property inspections and meetings onsite
