The Role:
The Property Management department of the Estate agency is continuously growing and currently manages a portfolio of over 1,000 properties. Due to this growth, they are now looking for an experienced Client Accountant to join the team of 8 Property Managers, 2 Accountants and an administrator to help deliver outstanding customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Client Accountant to take on the next challenge in their career, taking more responsibilities and independence in their work.
What you will be Responsible for:
- Management over the entire rent charges: receiving rent and paying landlords.
- Preparing and reporting on year-end accounts and audits.
- Liaising with landlords and tenants and dealing with supplier queries.
- Supplier ledger reconciliation.
- Bank reconciliation
- Activating new tenancies and processing renewals.
- Credit control: landlord fees and tenants\β arrears
- Processing deposit returns
- Posting suppliers\β invoices.
Requirements:
- 3 years minimum client accounts experience in a Property Management department.
- Experience with a client accounting software, preferably Reapit.
- Ability to work fast and accurately to clear deadlines.
- Desire to take ownership over their tasks.
- Good written communication skills.
- Good computer skills.
Basic Salary: Β£34,000 (negotiable for the right candidate). Plus benefits.
