Job Description
Job Title: Assistant Conveyancer
Location: Liverpool Waterfront
Salary: £27,000 basic
Realistic OTE: £38,000+
Experience Required: Minimum 6 months conveyancing or legal experience
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am–5pm (working one day from home will be introduced down the line)
We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Conveyancer to join our vibrant and growing team based on Liverpool’s iconic waterfront. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the legal/property sector.
You’ll be joining one of two small, tight-knit conveyancing teams, each made up of a Conveyancer, an Apprentice, and you. Your role will be to support the conveyancer with day-to-day legal admin, manage communications with buyers’ solicitors, and assist in progressing cases smoothly and efficiently from instruction to completion.
This position offers excellent training and long-term career progression, with the aim of developing you into a key member of the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting Conveyancing Files: Assisting your team’s conveyancer in all administrative and legal aspects of the transaction process.
- Handling Enquiries: Dealing with incoming enquiries from buyers’ solicitors professionally and promptly.
- Learning on the Job: Gaining hands-on experience in the conveyancing process with the full support of your team and manager.
- Career Development: Growing into a central figure within the business, with the opportunity to take on more responsibility as your knowledge expands.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Minimum of 6 months experience in conveyancing, legal administration, or a similar paralegal-style role
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
