Our client, a leading property company, offers a range of services to Scottish residential property homeowners who are looking to sell. This company has a clear vision to be Scotland's market leader in the Estate and Lettings industry. They are currently looking for a Solicitor to join their successful team. Minimum 3 Years Experience
Role and Responsibilities:
- Accurately record all time within the accounting software and keep clients informed of progression on matters.
- Upload correspondence and communications to case management systems and keep them updated for audit purposes.
- Write out to all assets and liability organisations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Take inbound calls for the probate department and action as appropriate.
- Research cases and legal information.
- Open and run checks on files, supporting clients through the transactions and dealing with post completion matters.
- Raise all invoices for your matters in a timely and efficient manner.
- Complete all IHT forms efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain accounting software in preparation for audit.
- Check that data protection laws are being adhered to and all documents comply with legal standards.
- Communicate efficiently with outside agencies.
- Prepare and modify documents including correspondence as advised by your manager.
About You:
- A minimum of 3 years post graduation experience is essential.
- Positive attitude towards change.
- Organisation skills and the ability to multi-task, prioritising and managing processes is essential.
- Competent written and spoken communication skills.
- Integrity.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of companywide operational procedures.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
