We are an award-winning, industry-leading events company that specialises in full-scale Festival Experiences and bespoke Leadership events, all focused within the Talent Acquisition industry globally with events in Europe, Middle East, and the US.
Our goal is to raise the profile of TA and empower those that make a difference. With a community-centred brand at the core of our business, we have our finger on the pulse of the industry and a wealth of experience to facilitate and create premier event experiences.
About the Role
Are you an ambitious B2B sales hunter who is energised by the Talent Acquisition, Employer Branding, and People & Culture space? We are seeking a proactive Business Development Executive to take dedicated product ownership of driving net-new sponsorship revenue for RecFest UK—the premier event brand for talent acquisition leaders.
This role is built for a true outbound specialist. You will focus 100% of your energy on acquiring new logo clients across Tier 2/Tier 3 clients, completely free from post-sale account administration. Working alongside our Commercial Leads, you will connect emerging HR, tech, and branding vendors directly with the TA community.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Prospecting: Execute high-volume, multi-channel outreach into prospective UK talent acquisition tech, employer branding, and recruitment solution providers.
- New Logo Acquisition: Own end-to-end sales execution for Tier 2 and Tier 3 level clients, alongside migrating emerging vendors.
- Pipeline Management: Independently manage your pipeline inside HubSpot: deploying automated sequences, tracking deal velocity, and maintaining accurate forecasts.
- Strategic Referral: Identify enterprise-level "whale" accounts during prospecting and route them to the Commercial Lead in exchange for referral credit.
Qualifications
- Outbound B2B Track Record: 1–3 years of proven success in high-activity outbound sales (experience in HR/TA-tech, B2B event sponsorship, or fast-paced B2B SaaS strongly preferred).
- Hunter Mindset & Discipline: Highly competitive, proactive, and target-driven, with demonstrated experience executing phone calls, cold email sequences, and social selling via LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Passion for the industry: A genuine interest in the HR, Talent Acquisition, or Employer Branding landscape—you are eager to speak the buyer's language and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Tech & Communication: Hands-on experience operating inside HubSpot Sales Hub (or similar CRMs) and confidence conducting discovery calls and video pitches over Google Meet.
- Mindset: Highly competitive, resilient, target-motivated, and energised by working within a collaborative team environment.
