Calling all passionate chefs with a love for nurturing young minds!   Ivy House Thames Ditton, a leading provider of exceptional childcare, are seeking a talented Nursery Chef to join their dynamic team.   In this permanent role, you'll have the opportunity to create delicious, nutritious meals that fuel the growth and development of the little ones, all while fostering a warm and inclusive environment.   Become an integral part of their close-knit community.  Enjoy the freedom to craft innovative menus that delight and nourish.  Make a meaningful impact on the lives of children through your culinary expertise.   The hours would be 8am – 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.  As you would become a valuable member of the Ivy House team, you would benefit from all of their staff perks, such as access to the Perks website, a generous holiday package, your birthday off, discounted childcare, staff events and much more. Preferred Requirements: Assume full control of the nursery kitchen, from menu creation to food ordering and budgeting Ensure compliance with environmental health regulations and manage food allergies with care Occasionally deliver engaging cooking sessions and classes for the children Prepare and serve hot lunches and prepare dinners for approximately 35 children Collaborate with the nursery team to provide a holistic, nurturing experience for our little ones Preferred Qualifications: Proven experience as a chef, with a passion for creating delicious, nutritious meals Excellent knowledge of food safety, allergies, and dietary requirements Strong organizational and budgeting skills to manage the nursery kitchen effectively
