Tax Senior (Personal Tax) Location: Walsall area, West Midlands (Hybrid Working) Salary: c£35-40k + bens, DOE We are currently partnering with a successful medium sized Accountancy Practice to recruit a Tax Senior to support their growing and varied portfolio of clients with the Personal Tax division. The role offers an exciting opportunity to take on a varied portfolio of personal tax clients, ranging from high-net-worth individuals to business owners. You’ll be responsible for compliance and advisory work, with plenty of room to develop your expertise and grow within the business. The role will suit someone with an Accounting qualification (likely ATT) strong knowledge of UK personal tax laws and experience of advising clients on compliance. You will be offered support on your own personal development with study support to work towards the CTA qualification. Key Responsibilities * Provide tax planning and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients. * Handle complex tax issues and liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients. * Conduct tax research and keep up to date with changes in tax legislation. * Build and nurture strong client relationships. * Support on business development activity. * Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and guidelines. Key Skills & Experience required * ATT, currently or willing to work towards the CTA qualification * Strong technical knowledge and experience advising on personal tax (income tax, CGT and inheritance tax) * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly. * Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite. * Commitment to continuous professional development and keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation
