We are working on behalf of an established brand who are looking to recruit a Graduate Marketing Assistant to join their marketing department. As a Graduate Marketing Assistant you will be supporting with all aspects of marketing in a generalist marketing position. You will play a pivotal role in supporting with the execution of various marketing strategies, campaigns, and events. You will assist with a variety of tasks to include content creation, social media management, event coordination and marketing material production.

The successful candidate will be degree educated or equivalent in Marketing, with demonstrable experience in a similar Marketing Executive/Assistant position within a marketing department or agency. This is a full-time office based role working in an outstanding office environment. The working hours are Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm with half hour lunch.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Support the marketing team with day-to-day activities and the execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Create and manage engaging content for the company’s website and across all social media platforms.
  • Assist in the development of marketing materials such as websites, brochures, newsletters and video content.
  • Organise photography for both live projects and corporate use.
  • Assist in the coordination of promotional events, including launches and exhibitions.
  • Complete competitor analysis and track marketing statistics to provide actionable insights.
  • Manage marketing databases, email distribution and assist with digital campaigns.
  • Liaise with printers, designers, and other suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of marketing materials.
  • Produce MI and analyse data on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives across social media, email campaigns, and website analytics.
  • Assist in organising and delivering internal and external presentations.
  • Work alongside the events team to identify event opportunities, events management and post event reviews.
  • Any other marketing activities as required by the business.

Skills and experience required:

  • Degree educated or equivalent in Marketing, Business or similar subjects.
  • Proven demonstrable experience in a similar Marketing role.
  • Highly organised with excellent communication skills.
  • Self-starter, motivated and enthusiastic nature.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • High levels of attention to detail.
  • Competent and accountable.
