Role: HR Advisor (part-time/school hours considered)

Salary: c£30,000

Location: Outskirts of Redditch B97

We are exclusively working with an award winning, successful, boutique HR consultancy to recruit an experienced Senior HR Advisor with a passion for employee relations. You will be responsible for working in partnership with a variety of SME clients to handle all transactional HR matters and offer credible HR advice with a pragmatic consultative approach. You will be working as part of an established team of 8, which pride themselves on delivering an exceptional service to small business owners and managers, providing full employment lifecycle support.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate significant experience in handling a high volume of employee relations cases, with the ability to be solution focused rather than process driven to support clients.

This is a full time office based position working Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm, working from an impressive office setting on the outskirts of Redditch. Free parking is available onsite. Due to the office location, you must be a driver with your own car.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting clients with all aspects of the employment life cycle, with a strong focus advising on employment law across a broad range of areas eg. disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence, redundancy and TUPE.
  • Provide comprehensive advice when responding to queries and provide coaching in a timely, friendly and professional manner.
  • Produce letters, forms, templates as well as create policies, processes and procedures to support the client with their HR and employment law needs.
  • Responsible for handling a variety of employee relations cases in a systematic way, ensuring advice given is accurate and best serves the client.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate and up to date records on the CRM.
  • Designing and delivering useful, practical HR and employment law presentations to communicate requirements with clients and prospects.
  • Develop and maintain credible working relationships with clients, asking the right questions and developing solutions that meet their needs.
  • Support with writing blogs and articles for newsletters on employment law topics for clients.
  • Take responsibility for your own CPD and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of changes in employment legislation and other relevant areas.
  • Attend trade fairs and expos to represent and promote the Company.

Required qualifications & skills:

  • Significant demonstrable experience of working in a similar HR Advisory role.
  • Experience of working with smaller scale business environments.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of HR and employment law and experience of managing volume of employee relations casework.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in smaller business environments in a collaborative manner.
  • Consultative, flexible and empathetic approach.
  • Ideally CIPD Level 5 or working towards.
