Salary: £27,000 - £33,000 (dependent on experience)

We are working on behalf of a growing and successful business who is seeking to recruit an experienced Finance Administrator to join their friendly and supportive team. Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will support the day-to-day finance and administration across 3 companies within the Group, working closely with colleagues across finance, service and project support.
This is a varied role combining accounts administration with wider business support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with colleagues. This is a permanent position working 37.5 hours per week with a flexible working pattern to be agreed. You will be required to attend the office near Meriden 3 days a week. Due to the office location, your own transport is essential.
- As a Finance Administrator you will be supporting the FD across a busy finance function supporting 3 companies within the Group.
- Responsible for checking, processing and recording supplier invoices.
- Reconciling supplier statements and company credit card transactions.
- Handling supplier invoice queries and liaising with suppliers professionally.
- Assisting with customer invoicing and supporting the Service team with scheduling and invoicing.
- Liaising with operational teams to resolve queries and support day-to-day business activities.
- Chasing outstanding paperwork and ensuring records are maintained accurately.
- Maintaining electronic filing and document management systems.
- Providing general finance and administration support as required to the business.
Skills and experience required:
- Proven work history within a busy Accounts or Finance department essential.
- Previous Accounts Administrator, Finance Administrator, Invoice Administrator or Finance Assistant experience is essential.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles including VAT.
- Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal, written and numerical communication skills.
- Positive, proactive and enthusiastic mentality.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload independently.
- Team player with a customer-focused approach.
- Naturally keen to learn, develop and suggest process improvements.
