Location: BH21 7BU
Hours: 4:00am-9:00am
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Start: Immediately
Job Type: Ongoing, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate
What You'll Be Doing
You'll play an important part in ensuring parcels are processed accurately and ready for delivery. Your duties will include:
- Sorting and organising incoming parcels according to routes and destinations
- Using scanners, conveyor belts and warehouse equipment
- Checking labels and ensuring parcels are correctly categorised
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Identifying and reporting damaged parcels
- Working as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse
- Following all health, safety and security procedures
What We're Looking For
Experience isn't essential. Full training can be provided for the right candidates.
We're looking for people who are:
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and able to remain on your feet for extended periods
- Comfortable lifting and handling parcels
- Detail-oriented and able to work accurately
- A good communicator and team player
- Available to work the required early morning hours
- Able to get to and from BH21 7BU reliably
Previous warehouse, logistics or parcel-sorting experience is an advantage, but not essential.
