The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Plymouth area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.
Shifts: Shifts run across Monday to Sunday
Hours: 01:00am - 05:00am starts through the week, Sunday is 11am - 12pm starts
Pay Rate: After 3am - £14.60 PAYE, Before 3am - £15.61 PAYE
Location: Plymouth, PL6
Job Type: Ongoing with the opportunity for permanent
The role:
- Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to and from sub depots and delivery units.
- Handling runs with 1-5 delivery stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
- Utilise tail lift and pump truck equipment for loading and unloading.
- Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
- Empty the vehicle and refuel at the end of each shift.
- Complete a theory and practical assessment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards and then complete a few days paid training if assessment is passed.
