The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting experienced Shunter Drivers to join our team in Coventry CV8. This is a great opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for consistent work with flexible shift options and excellent support.
Assessments Available ASAP!
Hours: Night shift positions only. Typical start times fall between 5:00pm and 8:00pm. Flexible working patterns available.
Pay Rates: £20.00 Nights, £25.00 Weekends.
Location: Coventry, CV8.
The Role:
- Shunting trailers within the yard.
- 40100 moves per shift.
- Yard manoeuvring and reversing with confidence and accuracy.
- Communicating effectively with transport and logistics teams.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 months shunting driving experience.
- Full UK Class 1 licence (C+E).
- Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only).
- Successful completion of assessment (theory and practical).
- Strong communication skills and a safety-first attitude.
