The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Hayes area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Hours: Monday to Friday, start times between 5am-9am (approximately 8-hour shifts on average) with occasional weekend availability.

Pay Rate: £19.23 per hour

Location: Hayes, UB3.

Job Type: Temporary to permanent.

The role:

  • Collect clinical waste from various healthcare facilities, including care homes and hospitals.
  • Prepare the vehicle for daily operations.
  • Utilise a compaction vehicle for waste disposal.
  • Perform local collections, wheeling bins to the back of the truck, and operating the bin pick-up mechanism.
  • Use a PDA for tracking and recording collections.
  • Depending on the volume, complete 35 to 60 collections during your shift.
  • Maintain physical fitness, as the role involves some heavy lifting.
